On behalf of GO Ethanol’s 270+ investors, we are proud to bring the advancement of alternative fuels and energy security for our nation to Lima, Ohio. This venture was made possible through the dreams, dedication and efforts of so many to include our private investors, contractors and vendors, State of Ohio and Local governmental agencies and persons along with the entire Lima community. To that end, we thank you.
The GO Ethanol Lima plant began operations in April 2008 and will produce a minimum of 54 million gallons of ethanol and 192,000 tons of high protein distillers dried grains per year. In addition, the site was engineered and designed to rapidly accommodate an expansion to 100+ million gallons per year when we decide to pursue.
The success of any venture is wholly dependent on its most valuable resource — its people. We are proud of the diverse team of professionals we have assembled with over 90% of our employees coming directly from the Lima and surrounding counties. If you, or know of anyone, that is looking to join a growing venture and burgeoning industry, then please contact GO Ethanol.
Our 20 million bushels of corn required each year will be sourced in large part from Ohio corn grown within 70 miles of the plant. This makes Ohio farmers an integral and key solution component towards the advancement of alternative fuels in the State of Ohio.
If at any time you, or anyone you know, has any questions regarding GO Ethanol, or the ethanol industry in general, I encourage you to contact myself and/or our Business Development Group. We will gladly address any questions and interest you may have.
